We are in Yokohama, a Japanese city located on a peninsula in Tokyo Bay, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. It began to develop in 1859 with the opening of the Port of Yokohama.
Currently, it is Japan's main international trade port and was used during the Meiji era for the silk trade.
The Port of Yokohama was inaugurated on June 2, 1859, and quickly became the main international trade hub thanks to its connection with Tokyo via the Tōkaidō road.
Thanks to foreign influence, Yokohama was the first city in Japan to develop products from Western popular culture. Among them are the first ice cream and beer factories, horse racing, the first daily newspaper in Japanese, the country's first railway line, and the first tennis court.
The port and the influences that arrived through it, along with the client's idea of designing a sport bar unlike any other, have guided us in developing the project's concept.
