Religion Coffee opens its doors in the new Madnum Centre as a true sanctuary dedicated to specialty coffee. A space conceived to honour the daily ritual behind every cup, where materiality, light and aroma come together to create an almost ceremonial experience.
The colour palette is inspired by the natural tones of coffee itself: terracotta hues, roasted browns and warm sandy shades that unfold through a carefully curated combination of textures. Terrazzo flooring, handcrafted clay finishes applied by hand, and surfaces that celebrate the marks of craftsmanship are paired with warmer, more natural materials such as cork, which envelops the space with comfort and serenity. In contrast, contemporary stainless-steel furniture introduces a precise and timeless character, balancing tradition and modernity.
At the heart of the project stands the coffee bar, the undisputed focal point of the space. Its soft, curved forms evoke the geometry of a contemporary altar, becoming the stage where baristas, product and craft take on an almost ritualistic role. Here, the sacred and the everyday converge; coffee transcends the simple act of drinking to become an experience, while materiality serves as the link between visitors and the essence of the place.
More than just a café, Religion Coffee is a refuge for coffee lovers—a space where every detail invites guests to pause, connect and celebrate the ritual of sharing a great cup of coffee.
